I remember reading this story and I had found out that our little boy that I was pregnant with would have Spina Bifida. Again, today I read the story and how true it is what the taxi driver said about he and his wife learning about the Grace and Love of God through the experience of having a handicap child. I too have had the same experience. While it can be difficult in many ways to care for a handicapped child, it is so beautiful in so many ways, mostly for me in the fact that I too have learned and felt the Grace and love of God more so now than ever in my life, all because of our little Carter.
